Is the Flasher Pro safe for all hair and skin types?
The Flasher Pro is safe and effective for a wide range of hair and skin types.
Skin rejuvenation using the ageless lens is suitable for Fitzpatrick Skin Tones I – IV, as seen below, regardless of hair color.
Long-lasting hair removal using the hairless lens requires high contrast between the melanin in your hair and your skin, meaning it may not be suitable for very light blonde, red, or gray hair, or for deeper skin tones. See below chart for reference.
IPL is not safe or suitable for brown or dark-brown to black skin tones. See chart below or reference Fitzpatrick Skin Tones V – VI.

How often should I use my device?
For hair removal, use the Flasher Pro with the hair removal lens every 3 days for up to 12 weeks and then every month. For skin rejuvenation, use the Flasher Pro with the ageless lens 2 to 3 times per week on an ongoing basis for optimal results.
Why do I need to shave before treatment?
For hair removal, shaving ensures that the light from the Flasher Pro directly targets the hair follicle, rather than being dispersed across the hair. It’s important that the skin is clean, dry, and free from any lotions, creams, or self-tanners before use to ensure optimal light absorption and effectiveness.
Where can I use my Flasher?
The Flasher Pro can be used anywhere on your face or body, including the arms, underarms, hands, legs, chin, neck, back, and bikini line. However, it is not suitable to be used on areas immediately surrounding the eyes or on the eyebrows. Refer to the included instructional manual in your device for a full list of recommended treatment areas.

Yes, because the Flasher Pro uses IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) technology, the skin rejuvenation lens may also reduce hair in treated areas over time. While the primary goal of skin rejuvenation treatments is to improve skin tone and texture, IPL energy is designed to target pigment, which includes hair follicles. If you wish to maintain hair in certain areas, consider this before using the device for skin rejuvenation.
Is the hair loss permanent?
Yes. IPL treatments permanently reduce hair regrowth. You can see up to a 95% reduction in hair regrowth after following the recommended treatment schedule. Since IPL targets hair in the anagen phase, some hairs that were in a different phase during treatment may still grow. This is why periodic maintenance treatments (once or twice a month) are recommended.
Is the treatment painful?

I started my tests at the beginning of January and started mid January. By about week 3-4, I’d guess, I saw a huge difference in the hair growth on my legs. I was only having to shave 2x a week vs every other day (every day in the summer). Week 5-7 I was only shaving 1x a week. After that, I just started spot shaving 1x a week where I could feel anything. At 8 weeks, I am SATISFIED as far as my legs go. Every few weeks, I’m still noticing a few random hairs so I have been doing my legs 1x a week still instead of 1x a month (still just spot shaving) but will switch to 1x a month maintenance once I stop seeing those random hairs come in. As far as my bikini and underarms go, I’m not AS satisfied but still pretty happy with the results. I think being a different type of skin/texture of hair/thickness of hair/etc., it might be taking longer? But I have noticed a significant decrease in the amount of hair I have in those areas and it is a lot thinner than it was before I started. I started these areas a few weeks after I started my legs as I 100% expected this treatment not to work so I didn’t want to waste my time. So, I am on about 13 weeks of those areas As I said, I totally didn’t expect this to work being that you always see things promising what seems impossible and they never work. I gave it a try even though I was 100% skeptical because of the guarantee and money back option- there was really no risk except to not try it. But NOOD WORKS!! Yes, my bikini and underarm areas are taking longer than expected but hey, it’s still less hair. I essentially have no hair on my legs now which is HUGE for me as my before picture is only after about a day and a half. My hair on my legs would already be growing back by the time I was done getting dressed and ready out of the shower… totally not exaggerating there, either. So, even if my bikini area and my underarms don’t stop growing hair, I am still 100% satisfied with the Nood treatment. I’ve been using my Nood for about 6 weeks now. For the first 4 weeks I used it 2x per week on my legs at level 7. I had no pain and no skin reactions, and it looks like the results are pretty good. There are still a few hairs left, but overall the result is good. It looks like a little maintenance here and there will be needed until they’re all gone.

It works well, even on my grey hairs that still have dark follicles, but note company says that the Flasher won’t work on grey hair. In 6 weeks, I have noticeably less hair on my upper lip and chin, with less success between my eyebrows. I will always have to pluck, but this is worth the money to cut that time down a lot.
