Is the Flasher Pro safe for all hair and skin types?
The Flasher Pro is safe and effective for a wide range of hair and skin types.
Skin rejuvenation using the ageless lens is suitable for Fitzpatrick Skin Tones I – IV, as seen below, regardless of hair color.
Long-lasting hair removal using the hairless lens requires high contrast between the melanin in your hair and your skin, meaning it may not be suitable for very light blonde, red, or gray hair, or for deeper skin tones. See below chart for reference.
IPL is not safe or suitable for brown or dark-brown to black skin tones. See chart below or reference Fitzpatrick Skin Tones V – VI.

Why is consistency important for IPL treatments?

Since not all hairs are in this phase at the same time, consistent treatments ensure that more follicles are treated during their active phase, leading to better results. For skin rejuvenation, consistency is important for IPL treatments because the effects build gradually over time. Regular use of the Flasher Pro helps to maintain an even skin tone and improve overall skin appearance. Since the skin naturally renews itself over several weeks, consistent treatments help users achieve and maintain visible improvements in texture and brightness. Sticking to a routine also ensures that treated areas receive the full benefits of IPL technology.
How often should I use my device?
For hair removal, use the Flasher Pro with the hair removal lens every 3 days for up to 12 weeks and then every month. For skin rejuvenation, use the Flasher Pro with the ageless lens 2 to 3 times per week on an ongoing basis for optimal results.
Why do I need to shave before treatment?
For hair removal, shaving ensures that the light from the Flasher Pro directly targets the hair follicle, rather than being dispersed across the hair. This improves the effectiveness of the treatment and enhances long-term results. It’s important that the skin is clean, dry, and free from any lotions, creams, or self-tanners before use to ensure optimal light absorption and effectiveness.
Where can I use my Flasher?
The Flasher Pro can be used anywhere on your face or body, including the arms, underarms, hands, legs, chin, neck, back, and bikini line. However, it is not suitable to be used on areas immediately surrounding the eyes or on the eyebrows. Refer to the included instructional manual in your device for a full list of recommended treatment areas.
Can using the Flasher Pro skin rejuvenation lens also reduce hair?
Yes, because the Flasher Pro uses IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) technology, the skin rejuvenation lens may also reduce hair in treated areas over time. While the primary goal of skin rejuvenation treatments is to improve skin tone and texture, IPL energy is designed to target pigment, which includes hair follicles. If you wish to maintain hair in certain areas, consider this before using the device for skin rejuvenation.
Is the hair loss permanent?
Yes. IPL treatments permanently reduce hair regrowth. You can see up to a 95% reduction in hair regrowth after following the recommended treatment schedule. Since IPL targets hair in the anagen phase, some hairs that were in a different phase during treatment may still grow. This is why periodic maintenance treatments (once or twice a month) are recommended.
Is the treatment painful?
Unlike laser hair removal, IPL or intense pulsed light hair removal is generally considered to be much safer and less painful. This is because IPL uses a multi-spectrum bulb vs a single-wavelength laser. You may feel a slight tingle in sensitive areas during treatment, but it should not be painful.
How long does it take to see results?

Mood, but not yet
It is easy to use, but I wish it had more of a warning about tan skin. I followed all the directions regarding a skin test safety check, and all came back right. What I didn’t know, and the instructions didn’t say, was that if I got a tan after that time it would affect the laser level I would need to use, and I got some scarring. The non-sun affected areas worked perfectly. Let me be clear- it wasn’t a big difference in tan, but apparently it doesn’t take a lot. Be careful and I would recommend using this in the winter! (It had worked well on the white parts of my skin though.)

Easy to use and versatile
I am so hopeful that my nood treatments with the Flasher Pro will be successful. It is very easy to use and changing from the hairless attachment to the ageless attachment is even easier. The instructions are adequate, although not specific enough for my liking. I had to refer back to the website to get advice on how often with each attachment, etc. Since I have only used it four times, I have not had visible results. I do believe that it will be effective, although it will be much slower than at a professional office.

This device is a game changer. I have done laser hair removal before at medical spas before but unfortunately I had facial hair come back due to hormonal imbalances after a few years and I couldn’t get myself to pay for those expensive treatments at more. I started using Nood on my face chin and jaw line 2 months ago and have been noticing great results of hair reduction. I am so glad I bought it. Easy use system
I am approximately 2 months into using the hair removal system. It has really slowed down the growth of my hair. I have been using it on my underarms which have approximately 50% improvement in hair removal. In areas where i have coarser hair such as my bikini line, it has not been as fast of an improvement.
